Myrtle Beach and Beverly Hills had a baby...

Surfer's Paradise is pretty sweet, there are high rise hotels as far as the eye can see, cool restaurants, stores, and oh yea the ocean right there boom! I'm not gonna lie, its a total tourist city. Everything you could possibly want is right there, from stunner shades to boomerangs you can get it all. Last Night Evan and I rolled through and scoped the whole place out. The highlights were as follows: a store called the condom king, checking out some australian outback head wear, and of course people watching. Today, we woke up to catch some orientation seminar where they showed us pictures of a Bull Shark that was found in the lake right on campus, and gave us the college speech...a time to learn how to learn....a time of self-discovery....a time for me to catch up on some sleep. Afterwards we checked out a BBQ they had at the pool where this kid we met a couple nights ago from the citadel invited us to go to the beach. So we jumped on a bus to Burleigh beach with 20 kids from the house that obama built. Burleigh is much more of a local spot with tons of surfers and local stores. The waves were huge, and me and a couple other guys swam out to where they were breaking. It took about 20 minutes; no joke it was the most intense workout I've had in a while. The rip tide is redonkulous, but it was all worth it to dive through a monster wave. Hopefully, I will be surfing giants with kunu and Johnny Kapahalla any day now. I also got my schedule for the Bond University Soccer team, I have practice 3 times a week so we will see how that goes. It's def gonna be put on for my city time if you know what I'm saying. Well I'm about to grab a shower and head out to get some food because your never full in OZ. Rub Yo Face In It! LATer
